For SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises)

To verify your company's income sources and the assets of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO), please provide the following:

1. Main Income Source

  • Contracts that prove the activity and payments received.
  • Invoices issued to clients, especially related to your main activity.
  • Company incorporation/registration documentation that proves the legal existence of your company.
     

2. Ultimate Beneficial Owners' Assets

  • Salary receipts that demonstrate income from wages.
  • Company sale contracts if the assets come from the sale of a company.
  • Inheritance documents, if applicable.
  • Investment statements such as portfolios, shares, or bonds.
     

3. Bank Statements

  • Provide bank statements from the last 3 months.
  • PDF format is recommended for greater clarity and ease of review.

     

For Self-Employed Workers (Trabalhador Independente) and Sole Proprietors (ENI)

To verify your income as a self-employed worker, you can provide any of the following documents. It is NOT necessary to submit all of them; only those that you have available and are relevant to your situation.

1. Tax Documents

  • Most recent Income Tax Return.
  • Quarterly VAT or Social Security declarations.
     

2. Proof of Activity

  • Recent invoices sent to clients in the last 6 months.
  • Professional association receipts if you are a member of any.
     

3. Bank Statements

  • Bank statements from the last 3 months that clearly reflect your professional income.
